Virgin Media One viewers will have to wait for The Six O’Clock Show as the schedule has changed.

As the name suggests, the popular chat show typically airs at 6pm on weekdays.

However, due to more news coverage the show has been pushed to a later time.

The 5.30pm news will now be an hour long, meaning The Six O’Clock Show will air from 6.30 to 7.30pm now.

This also means that Emmerdale has been bumped from 7pm and will now air at 7.30pm.

The Six O’Clock Show hosts Martin King and Muireann O’Connell addressed the schedule change on Monday’s show.

Though the time has changed, the team promised that the show will air for the full hour as usual with interviews and a cooking segment.

Despite restrictions across Ireland, there are still some Virgin Media TV shows continuing to air as normal.

Muireann and Martin sit on opposite couches to abide by the two-metre rule while their guests and chefs join them via video link.

Another popular VMTV show is Ireland AM, which has adapted extremely well given the current situation.
