Casino Hopper Trolley Biloxi
My arrival into Biloxi, Mississippiwas at 3:30pm and I had reservations awaiting at Harrah’s Gulf Coast. This hotel carries a 4 star rating and well deserved.The inclusive price of $73.07 per night plusthe complimentary parking was my drawing card.Checking in was simple and quick and the room offered up a lovely view ofthe bay.
I had pre arranged to have a Casino Hopper pass waiting for me upon registration at Harrah's. Passes can be purchased through the Coast Transit Authority. TheCasino Hopper offers a fixed route that serves the casinos, attractions and businesses on Hwy 90,Caillavet Blvd., and Bayview Ave. on the Biloxi Loop. It providesservice every 25 minutes, 7-days a week and you will find the fares quite reasonable.| The Biloxi trolleys |
Before flying to New Orleans Ihad downloaded an iPhone app called “Route Shout”.This is a great app that provides live arrival and departure times for all of the gulf coasttransportation.I only used theBeachcomber and the Casino Hopper but they offer 6 other options.
Harrah’sCasino is one of the stops on the Casino Hopper Route.The trolley picks up on OakStreet, the west side of the property.The largest online social casino in the states. First order of business after arriving into Biloxiwas dinner.I decided to try out “Slap Ya MommaBBQ” on Beach Blvd.

- 1 review of Casino Hopper 'Stuck on this trolley! The price difference is not worth the ride. My husband and I hopped on at Harrah's Gulf Port wanting to go to the Beau Rivage. The trip took over 30 minutes. We even had to wait for the driver to smoke a cigarette at the Greyhound bus station. We rode after dark with some sketchy people.
To get to Beach Blvdwould require a transfer.First I boardedthe Casino Hopper at the Harrah’s stop. I pickedup the 4:55pm trolley and got off at the Transit Center, arriving there at5:21pm. | Biloxi Transit Center |
I then transferred to the Yellow Westbound Beachcomber trolley that departed at 5:30pm.There isn't a scheduled stop at Slap Ya Momma's BBQ soI simply asked the driver if he would mind just dropping me in frontof the restaurant, which he did.On theBeachcomber map below the restaurant is right next door to Big Play Entertainment Center justbefore the Treasure Bay Casino.

“Slap Ya Momma BBQ”was not disappointing and provedto be an excellent choice.When I firstwalked in my eyes were immediately drawn to the walls.They were covered with doors of various colors which I found quite artistic and unique.

It was excellent food, a great atmosphere andgood service all for under $20.
